Real Madrid and Osasuna will face each other in the Copa del Rey (CDR) final on May 6, Saturday at the Estadio La Cartuja, Sevilla.
The Los Blancos will appear in their 40th Copa final, winning the title 20 times during the process. While Osasuna will be playing in their second CDR final of club's history.
Madrid defeated Xavi Hernandez’s FC Barcelona in the CDR semi-final with an aggregate score of 4-1. Despite losing the first leg 1-0, Madrid bounced back to win the second leg 4-0.
In the second leg, Vinicius Jr. opened the account for Los Blancos as he scored a brilliant counter-attacking goal after which Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick to secure Madrid's place in the final.
While Osasuna navigated their way past Athletic Bilbao in a 2-1 aggregate win to reach the final for the second time in club’s history.
Madrid announced their squad on Thursday ahead of the Copa final and they will have every player available.
David Alaba and Luka Modric are set to return to action along with Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga, who missed Madrid's away trip to Real Sociedad where the Los Blancos lost by two goals.
As for Osasuna, Darko Brasanac is out for the season with a serious knee injury, but head coach Jagoba Arrasate would be hoping to have David Garcia and Nacho Vidal available for selection on Saturday.
It must be noted that Madrid has only won Copa two times in the last 30 years, their last Copa title win was against arch-rivals Barcelona in 2014 where Gareth Bale scored the famous solo goal.
The last time Osasuna appeared in a CDR final was in 2004/05 season against Real Betis where the latter won the tie with the score line of 2-1.
The two clubs last met in a league match in February where Madrid defeated Osasuna by two goals.
